This extremely beneficial partnership allows us to continue expanding the key topics coordinated into our Holistic Retirement Planning approach, in-house, from a trusted CPA, a Certified Estate Planner, and a Certified Financial Planner - who all share our same passion for assisting retirees. Allison Brown, CPA, MBA, CFP
Allison Brown is a Certified Financial Planner, a Certified Public Accountant, and is a member of Ed Slott’s Elite IRA Advisor group. She has a Master’s in Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from the University of Chicago, a top-ranked business school. As a student at Chicago, Allison received an award for Outstanding Contribution to the Graduate School of Business. In addition to the MBA, she has a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park. Allison is proud to have spent several years as a Controller in the Federal government and is still well versed on the FERS benefits program from her time as a part of it!
Allison is the owner of TPC Wealth Management LLC. TPC Wealth Management specializes in estate and retirement planning, and as such helps transition a client from wealth accumulation to wealth preservation and income planning during retirement. As a CPA, Allison uses her knowledge of the tax code to ensure plans are tax-friendly, and as an Ed Slott Elite IRA Advisor she specializes in maximizing retirement assets to help ensure a smooth transition of assets to heirs at the appropriate time. Allison is based just north of Washington, DC, but spends time assisting retirees in Charlotte, NC and Tampa, FL areas as well.
Marty Beeson, CEP
Marty Beeson is a Certified Estate Planner (CEP) and a member of the National Institute of Certified Estate Planners (www.nicep.org). Marty has been in the financial services industry as an independent practitioner for almost 20 years and has focused on estate planning almost exclusively in that time period.
While not an attorney, Marty has specialized in coordination of various legal tools for decades, such as; wills, living trusts and powers of attorney. TPCWM partners with lawyers and paralegals to ensure clients are getting the appropriate assistance and advice they need to implement such tools as part of a complete estate plan. Marty is also affiliated with Legacy Tree Foundation and other organizations specializing in the use of charitable tools, an oft overlooked aspect of estate planing.
Marty is a Vietnam Veteran, and served in the U.S. Army from 1970 – 1977. During that time he earned several medals, including an Army Commendation Medal, medals for good conduct, a Meritorious Unit Citation and a Presidential Unit Citation.
Patrick Harkin, ChFEBC

Patrick has been a great friend and mentor over the last 5 years and we could not be more pleased to officially announce our partnership! Patrick, in addition to being retired from the United States Postal Service, also served in the U.S. Air Force for 9 years and the Iowa Air National Guard. During his distinguished 35 year postal career Patrick held multiple Postmaster positions on his way to eventually retiring as the Manager Operations Programs Support (MOPS) for the Greensboro District. Originally from Iowa, Patrick has been a NC resident since 2000 and has been enjoying his beach side retirement since 2012.
In his retirement, Patrick also realized the huge gap in retirement preparation and financial education that Federal Employees receive and took it upon himself to assist his federal peers. In addition to his personal experience, Patrick continued to expand his knowledge and became a Chartered Federal Employee Benefits Consultant in 2013. His vast knowledge is an invaluable resource to WalkerCPG and Federal Retirees alike.
Patrick finds great fulfillment in helping Federal Employees and their families understand their benefits and how to make the most of them. An avid Iowa State football fan(atic), Patrick enjoys relaxing on the NC beaches when he is not traveling around the country to speak at Federal Retirement Seminars.
Calvin Bagley, ChFEBC

Calvin has been a good friend and mentor for over 5 years now and WalkerCPG could not be prouder to officially partner with him! Calvin is a retired Federal Employee with 32 years of service. He served 4 years in the Air Force prior to his distinguished career with the United States Post Office. Starting in the trenches as a letter carrier Calvin worked his way up through many managerial positions to prestigiously retire as the Manager Post Office Operations (MPOO) covering 275 zip codes.
Upon his retirement in 2010, Calvin recognized the incredible lack of retirement education provided to his Federal Employee peers and made it his mission to share his wealth of benefits knowledge and his own personal experiences in order to help others. Even after successfully navigating his own benefits, Calvin continued to educate himself further and has been a Chartered Federal Employee Benefits Consultant since 2013. Calvin enjoys educating Feds and brings decades of knowledge, experience, and federal benefits training to the WalkerCPG team. We are absolutely thrilled to have him aboard!
Calvin his happily married to the lovely Mrs. Elena Bagley and they have 2 children - both with young budding families of their own. Calvin and Elena enjoy traveling and taking time to play with their grand children.
